Stephen DeRuby passed away a few years ago, and his flutes are highly desirable. Not sure what key this one is, but the seller mentions that it’s 23 inches long, so I’d guess it’s midrange. It has a large open mouthpiece, similar to those you see on cane flutes. I’ve always enjoyed flutes like that as they tend to be quite responsive.
